What is the Renewable Heat Incentive?
The Renewable Heat Incentive also known as RHI is a financial support scheme to generate heat from renewable green technologies such as :-
Biomass Boilers
Solar Thermal Panels
Ground Source Heat Pumps
Air Source Heat Pumps
You could receive cash payments over seven years, the amount you receive depends on the latest tariffs that are available.
How to apply
Once you have had your green technology installed you can apply your self or ask your supplier to apply for your RHI scheme via Ofgems website.
To apply you will need :-
MCS Certificate
Energy Performance Certificate
Green Deal Number
Bank Details
If you receive a grant from the government or public funds for your installation then you will also need to provide details of
